Imperial Citie Rabat,Fes along with the blue town of Chefchaouen, Sahara Desert

Day 1:

 

Casablanca - Rabat
We collect you at the airport in Casablanca and will start with the visit of the Hassan II Mosque. We then continue to Rabat for a visit of the administrative and political capital. Overnight at a hotel, breakfast included.

Day 2:

 

Rabat – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, departure to Fez via Moulay Idriss, an important holy city. From there we visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, with its fine mosaic and forums. We will stop for lunch in Meknes, known as “The Versailles of Morocco”. Visit the monuments of Meknes. Arrival in Fez. Overnight at a hotel, breakfast included.

Day 3:

 

Fez – Historical Tour

After breakfast, you will have a full day to discover Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities and medinas, founded by Idriss II, the radiation centre of the Arab-Islamic culture. You will visit the Mosque of the Andalusians, tanneries, the district of pottery and the heart of the Medina. Lunch will be served in a palace in the Medina. In the afternoon we continue our visit along Hispano-Moorish buildings, Medersas and Nejjarine.

Day 4:

 

Fez – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Departure for Midelt through the Middle Atlas, where we will stop for lunch. We continue to Erfoud along the Ziz valley passing some fortified towns, whose architecture announces that we are in the pre-Saharan oases. Arrival in Merzouga dunes, called Erg Chebbi. Overnight in a Kasbah.

Day 5 : 

 

Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

After breakfast, you will make the grand tour through the dunes, two oases of Merzouga, the desert nomads, the village of Khamlia (village of the blacks), Mifiss mines, the desert plateau to meet the Berber nomads and the oasis of Tissardmine. Back at the hostel around 15:00 pm for the start of your camel ride, while admiring the sunset in the dunes (about an hour and a half camel trek ). Overnight in tents in the dunes, where you can enjoy the silence of the desert and the sky full of shiny stars. Dinner and overnight in a private tent.

Day 6 : 

 

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges

After sunrise back to the hotel for breakfast and shower, then off to Tineghir via Rissani, Erfoud, Tinjdad and arrival at Todra Gorges. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 : 

 

Todra Gorges – Dades Boumalne – Valley Of The Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate via KelâaM’Gouna city, where, every year, the festival of roses is held. Lunch and up to Ouarzazate through the Dades valley, the valley of roses, with a stop to visit Skoura Kasbah Ameridil. The journey ends in Ouarzazate where you have dinner and stay for the night.

Day 8 : 

 

Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Visit of the city of Ouarzazate which was founded in 1928 and became a very famous cinematography centre. Stop en route to Marrakech to visit the UNESCO heritage site Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 9 : 

 

Marrakech – Cultural tour

After breakfast, you will be introduced to the city of Marrakech, also known as “The Pearl of the South”, founded in the 11th century. In the morning you will visit the Koutoubia, Saadian Tombs, the Menara garden and the Bahia Palace. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the souks, the Medina and the Djemaa El Fna square. Evening dinner in a Moroccan restaurant. Overnight at a hotel or riad.

Day 10 : 

 

Casablanca – Med V airport

After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Or you can always extend your stay with some extra nights in Marrakech.
