5 Days Trekking Lodges & Toubkal Ascent 

Day 1:

 

Armed– Tizi Oudid (1900m) – Id Issa (1800m) 

Leave Imlil around 9.00 am and head off down along Imlil valley until Mattat village, where you will climb up Tizi Oudid to reach the green Azzaden valley. Continue to Id Issa village.

Overnight at the guest house.

6hrs walking.

Day 2:

 

Guest House
Relax at the guest house or go for a short walk.

Day 3:

 

Azzaden ValleyTour around the Berber villages of this beautiful valley with its colourful landscape & unique architecture of the Berber houses. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 4:

 

Id Issa – Tamsoulte – Liperny – Tizi n’Ougelzime – Neltner Hut

After an early breakfast, continue the trekking towards Toubkal Neltner (3200m) via Tamsoulte and Lipeny. You will pass through the biggest waterfall of the occidental High Atlas Mountains. We will keep on walking up to Tizi n’Ougelzim and then go down again to the basecamp. Overnight at the Nelter Hut (3200m).

7/8 hrs walking, picnic lunch provided.

Day 5:

 

Neltner Hut (3200m) – Toubkal Ascent (4167m)– Armed (1800m)After breakfast at 5.00 am, start Toubkal ascent around 6.00 am to climb the highest peak in northern Africa (4167m), about 3hrs walking up the hill to reach the summit. Your efforts will be rewarded with stunning views of the Atlas Valley and its villages. We then walk down to the Hut for lunch. This will take about 2.30hrs.Back to Imlil after lunch via the main mule track and cross the marabout chamharouch. Arrival at Armed and experience the local berber Hammam and to wash off all the sand and the dust! 4hrs walking. Overnight at the Armed guest house or back to Marrakech at the end of the day.
